You become an advocate, a teacher, a coordinator, a problem solver, and above all, a steady source of love and support for your child.

Every school year begins with meetings, evaluations, progress reports, and plans for the months ahead. For special education professionals, these conversations are part of the work they faithfully do every day. For parents, however, these meetings often represent something much deeper.
